ORIENTALE COLLECTION - COLIBRI MOSAIC COLLECTION

SICIS inspiration runs along the Silk Road to the boundaries of dusk. OrienTale is a wonderful world to cross, featuring the unique fascination of an almost synaesthetic experience.

In OrienTale, nature is perfected in the details of an instant, revealing order and balance in the decisive stroke of Murano glass animated gracefully by the chromatic phrasing of the iridescent glass.

Beyond the design, the base dominated by dark hues, dilates the time of the tale as that of imagination, multiplying spaces and depth thanks to reflective effects on the Colibrì mirrored surfaces.

Luxury, elegance, style: three words summing up the uniqueness of a collection for those wanting for themselves what others can only dream of. That’s how the Artistic line of the Colibrì collection comes across. Here the mosaic is rigorously “ by design” aimed specifically at proposing “art” over expertise. Thus, the Sicis spirit remains faithful to that universal principal where searching for what is “beautiful” is the maximum point of tension. Achieved through its choice of precious materials through creation of unique decorations with an antique, timeless “taste”; through its productive and technological ability and skilled installation. With perfect results.

Inspired by the forms and designs developed in the 18th and 19th century Far East, and long admired and loved in Europe.

THE NEWEST ADDITIONS TO CAESARSTONE’S CLASSICO™ COLLECTION

With five new designs added to the Caesarstone® Classico™ collection, this has not just expanded our range, but also further refined its relevance to the needs of design professionals and end consumers alike.

The five new Caesarstone® Classico™ designs include:

  •          Ocean Foam
  •          Crème Brule™ and Wild Rice
  •          Cocoa Fudge
  •          Shitake

“We have seen an on-going shift from simple monotone colours to more subtle two or three colour blends in natural design structures and scale in neutral, classic base colours“, says Andrew Dixon, Caesarstone Australia Sales and Marketing Manager.

All five new additions have been developed to work in a variety of home interiors and applications including kitchen bench tops and splashbacks, custom made furniture and bathroom wall linings.

Caesarstone’s colour development program takes into account international and Australian design directions from different categories including materials, furniture and interiors. These are juxtaposed against the needs of residential and commercial interiors as well as the types of applications Caesarstone® products are used in, being particularly mindful of the longer, more timeless lifespan of our products.

All the new designs are unique and exclusive to the Caesarstone® brand, backed up by sophisticated advanced technology, proven and trusted quality and after sales service.

The five new Classico™ colours will be launched in early September and available through all kitchen retailers. To locate your nearest kitchen showroom location simply go to the “Where to View” on the Caesarstone® website and select one of the five new colours.

Match made in heaven - Lacroix and SICIS collaboration

Renowned as a leader in tiles worldwide, SICIS have collaborated with fashion powerhouse, Christian Lacroix.

The furniture collection created by Lacroix for SICIS is remnant of not only the history of mosaics in the Ravenna region and its Byzantine connection to the Empress Theodora, but also his hometown of Arles, esteemed for its Roman tiles and antiquities.

“Having the privilege of being brought up between monuments, museums and 17th century houses – all well-steeped in the history of art - gave me the confidence that everything could be mixed up, particularly the most extreme styles such as baroque, neo-classical, post-modern, kitsch and pop,” Lacroix said.

From April 12 - 17, the collection of furniture designed by Mr Christian Lacroix will be presented at the Salone del Mobile Milan fair in a new SICIS lifestyle set-up. From June 2011, it will be distributed worldwide in all of SICIS’s showrooms.
